Today, Jakarta Communication Informatics and Statistics Dept. (Diskominfotik) together with Forestry Dept. holds outdoor activity to increase student's creativity in Lapangan Banteng's park, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

We want to encourage students to avoid bullying and hoax information

40 students from SMP Perguruan Cikini, Menteng, participate in this activity.

"We want to encourage students to avoid bullying and hoax information by doing creative activity in public park," said Ika Maulani Untari, Jakarta Diskominfotik's Public Communication Resources and Information Access Section Head, Thursday (10/4).

She also reminds students to be more selective in receiving and disseminating information. Because hoax information and bullying are potential to legal implications as it is regulated in law (UU).

Meanwhile, SMP Perguruan Cikini's Social Teacher, Sukentri Hermoyo expressed her gratitude because her students have a chance to study outdoor and gain some knowledge.

"We also follow Diskominfotik instruction by supervising students in using gadget," she mentioned.

At the same location, Jakarta Forestry Dept.'s Data and Information Authorization Counseling Section Head, Yunitia Sari said, her side also explains about history of L apangan Banteng and West Irian Liberation Monument to the students in this activity.
